Is there a problem using a alum intake on steel heads?

No. You want a dual plane for street use stock to mild motor though.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I have an aluminum intake, edelbrock 2901, with good ole cast iron heads on my 383 stroker
