Cab Marker location
« on: April 21, 2007, 10:53:15 pm »
Does anyone here have a truck with cab markers?  I am curious as to the exact, re proper, location and positioning of the two outermost lights.  I know they are not exactly straight forward as are the three center markers.  If you could provide the distance of the screw holes from the windshield rubber and from the door rain gutters, that would be terrific, and I would greatly appreciate the assistance.  Thank you.

The outside light on my 79 K30 is pointing toward the corner of the roof. The inside screw is 4 3/4" from the window gasket. the outside screw is 5 1/2 from the windshield gasket. The outside screw is 3" from the stainless part of the rain gutter.

Not sure if you thought about it but I have always thought the three marker lights on the new HDs looked cool, and would look sweet on a vintage truck. Two outside and one middle with three bulbs.
