Anybody have a good guess what a 79 C-10 stepside side short bed with small block would weight?

Chris is pretty much right, my book shows 3835 pounds for a V8, 3577 for a six cylinder.

when you go to your local city land fill to throw trash....... they weigh your truck when entering premissis and when you exit again.... there is no charge for this and they tell you the vehicles weight.... ;)
THE LOWER I GO,..... THE MORE SHE LIKES IT!

Yes, but if you are going to the landfill...to dispose trash...there is indeed a charge.  :)  Can't dump for free.
