suspension tends to jump

my K5 Blazer 4x4, tends to jump when i drive on a dirt road or hit a speed bump. I can say that it is more comfortable to drive my car than my truck.
3 months ago i changed the shocks and made maintenance to the leaf springs packs, changing some.

What can i do in order to improve the driving experience?, so this can be more comfortable.

If it didn't do it with the old shocks I would say the valving in the new ones is not right for the application. In other words the shocks fit but are not the right ones.
 P.S. Its a truck, its not supposed to ride like a car.

Not only is it a truck, but its a 4wd truck with a solid front axle...the '84 c10 longbed I used to have rode like a cadillac..my '83 c10 shortbed rides like a lumber wagon..my uncle's '80 k20 rides worse than a lumber wagon on a washboard road.

Ditto on the shock valving, if you can find em, gabriel coil-over shocks allow for a SWEET ride while improving handling and load leveling. Those are what the '84 had on it.

I used Rancho 9000's on my 4x4's.  It rode the best (considering its a solid axle 4x4), and they are adjustable.   I used them on my short bed 81 and my Jeep.
