Panel prices
« on: January 29, 2008, 12:43:17 pm »
Hey guys. i am sure this may have been covered previously but i could not find any posts.
Anyway, got a 79 SWB pickup and am looking for the front hood/fenders as well as both doors. first thing is will any 73-87 Chevy door fit any style or year?(i know thats broad) are there differences in door panel fitment and power options fitment ie.. PW, PDL.  second is what kind of prices can i expect to pay (also a broad question) i know its different everywhere but in Oregon its $35 a fender $50 a hood and $50 a door at a U-Pull It. I'm here in Wyoming and i got 4 trucks to choose from. i know 4 whole trucks!!! ;D they look good so if i want these parts i have to act fast. If anyone can give me a general idea of what to expect to pay that would help a lot.   thanks, Sean

Doors break down to 73-76 and 77-91, you want the 77-91 (only year power was availible)  Any door panel will fit this door from 77-91 and power can be added, 73-76 panels won't fit this door.
Hoods, any of them will work, but the 79-80 has a raised portion on the leading edge where 73-78 were smooth.
Fenders are the same from 73-80 as were the inner fenders.
