You are soooooo close.  You just have what seems a wiring nightmare.  Just a suggestion...  Buy a cheap parts truck, that has the gauge dash and rewire yours.  You seem to have a nice truck otherwise from reading your other posts???

Sounds like you thinking smart get the house and a place to do it then don't let it be something you have to drive on a daily basis just something you can play with when you need to get out of the house away from wife and kids just to bad you can't keep it and put it on the back burner til things get better since you already have so much time and money invested in this one you'd be working on one you know about anyway what ever you decide good luck and just because you get rid of it don't mean you have to stop checking in on us here to see whats up. Once in a while I get a deal on a used car people try anything to get out of jail if I come across something I'll let you know.

I moved this to the discussion area so it wouldn't get deleted for not having a price and also has the appearance of a discussion other than a for sale add.

Well ill tell u all what...I want to keep my truck...But this is all thats wrong with it...Now i no i can do the welding and steel work...Was a welder before a trucker...
But i noticed today that my frame on the passanger side...Ware the front of the leaf spring connects to the frame is SHOT..I mean its being held on by 1 bolt.....Thats no prob...But then the rockers are shot...got new ones."Thanks chris for great parts :P"  Cab corners and floor..Needs new bed and new fenders and doors...New seat and a new engine..And so on and so on.....Still worth keeping?

And my dream of this truck is a 572 with a blower and Rockford axles Roll bars and Side bars and I beam Bumpers....With a 6 speed and a Gear spliter to give me 12 speeds.....So i mean alot of the stuff is scrap anyways....So...Im confusing myself..

And another thing is my wife bought the truck for me like 5 years ago for x-mess cause my father had a truck that looked the same....

And another thing lol...The truck dont have no love for me she keeps dieing after every repair i do!  Ok sorry for ranting but im stuck in a loop hole here...I mean its like the saying goes if u love somthing let it go....Right????

Frame is another issue.  If the front is bad, no telling what behind the gas tanks look like.  I might rethink this truck...  I know I could never sell something that is not safe without full disclosure of the known problems especially the structural issues that could cause major problems if not addressed.  Part it out, definately would be better than selling it whole.  Your in a tough spot without having some place to put it to part it out.  Good luck in whatever way you choose.  I need a steering column if you decide to part it out.

Well i just spotted today...I took my creeper and a mag lite and a Welding hammer and checked the entire frame out.... Just the one spot is gone..it looked like a good spot for salt to pack into and go un noticed..Kinda my fault the truck is under coated..But 5 years ago i put tow hooks on the front and after i drilled the holes i didnt paint the frame ..So the ohio salt packed in there.Like i said not much to it...But gotta remove the leaf spring and front clip and so on to do it the right way....If i do part her out ill let u no...

You are a smart man Red!!  The wife and family should always come first. ;)  Save and buy a house first.  I am 42 and waited till now to do this.

I almost lost my wife and family over the local Vol. Fire Department - I learned my leason early on.  NOTHING is worth losing your wife and family over. Just my experiences......   Good Luck with whatever you decide.
