Tailgate Handles, 87 R10 Pickup

Has anyone installed one of the tailagte relocation handle kits (moves handle to inside the gate)? Comments?

If I keep it on the outside, does a current black Chevy handle work with the exiting linkage?

i am currently relocating mine i went to the local metal shop with the measurements and they made my delete kits , the relocator box's from sir michaels are nice as well,i know with that box u can use ur originall handle and equiptment they send a template to place and cut out, it is much easier than i thought
