I got my idea from combining a few different military themes together
I want to paint my truck OD green and paint the grill and bowtie in front dull black
Also sand the front bumper and paint black after putting pushguards on it and tow hooks
Get stencils and spray paint random numbers on the back like military vehicles have
Label with stencil near the fuel doors "FUEL"
Also, at the low back left/right sides in yellow paint stencil in "CAUTION HOT" near the exhaust
Then paint a tigershark mouth and eyes like an old bomber. Im thinking starting the front of the mouth halfway up the fender and going up slightly diagonally towards the back of the fender on each side and slanting the eyes as well

Would be a pretty mean looking truck
Maybe see if my dad still has that 9'+ steel whip CB antenna when he was my age and arch it front to back over the truck

My truck is a POS and no point in polishing a turd. Make it a novelty :)

Heres my truck in current state

Heres a truck I found when searching for OD green pickups to give you an idea

And heres the tiger shark teeth and eyes I want

The Fly Guy, I mean The Fall Guy.   That truck spent more time in the air than on the ground.  In fact, early on they were going through so many trucks that they ended up customizing one with 'mid-engine' in it so it wouldn't be front heavy when jumping.  I guess they put the engine in the bed.

So now, whenever I see a speed bump, I make sure I get a running start and floor that 383 stroker and see how high I can get and pretend I am the 6 million dollar man, no, I mean Lee Majors.

BigBadJohn, you're forgetting the "Not A Step" sign each side of the hood near the windshield ;D

My inspiration was a truck of my uncle's when I was growing up, went to visit and stay for the summer on his farm and drove that thing all around the pasture when I was 12. Made quite an impression, I guess. I want a farm too, but can't seem to give up my day job.

Mine was a 85 or 86 Chevy 1/2-ton shortbox stepside 2wd. It was new at the time and I was 11 or 12. Local guy had it who was in grade 12 I believe. It was bright white, lifted in the back a little, Cragar S/S 15" rims with 295/50 tires in the back, chrome side pipes (the nice smooth tube ones) and had airbrushed in blue script below the back window "The Seductor". That was such a sharp truck, especially in white. I looked for a stepside when I was buying mine but couldn't find one in nice enough shape for my budget. I'm happy with my fleetside though.
85 Chevy Silverado C10 short, wide, yellow, 2wd. Lowered, 60-over 350 with Dart Iron Eagle heads and Comp Cams XE268 cam, TH350 w/ shift kit, 3.40 Gov-lok 12 bolt.

this is gonna sound weird, but there was a Schwarzenegger movie back in the day(commando or something?) where they kidnap his daughter, and rip the plug wires off his chevy truck, so he pushed it down the hill and catches up to them,

it was when i saw that last year on tv i realized what i wanted, and i've been slowly making it mine ever since.
