Hit a pretty good sized deer the other night running about 40mph, poor deer. Didn't hurt the ol chevy, sad they don't make trucks like they used too :smokin

Imagine what would have happened had you been driving a small car instead. ;)

I used to have a 65 Mustang concours-correct, restored show car one day.....

Then, one Thanksgiving night a few years back.....

I don't mind one ounce about killing deer.  I hunted/killed my first one when i was 10.
But, I tell ya, the one I hit w/ my stang was the best tasting deer of all......sweet revenge!!!

isn't it illegal to harvest any thing that someone hits on the road? It would just give poachers an excuse. Certainly, I'm not accusing anyone of poaching. I would eat it too. Just what I've always heard.

Well, if you are out in the country and there are only two police officers in the entire county, and even less game wardens, why report it?  If i had collision insurance, it would definately be a different scenario.  But, as far as I was concerned, there was no benefit in reporting it.   Besides, it was before I became a deputy
