The 350 Went In!
« on: August 17, 2008, 11:38:30 pm »
My 350 finally went in. I spent all weekend with my dad working on it. I couldn't believe how much much of a difference it was from my old 305. If I punch the throttle after coming to a complete stop, the tires will actually spin. I know it doesn't sound impressive, but it's a big difference. Now when I'm at the bank drive-up, I can keep my truck on because I'm not burning oil anymore! ;D People would roll their windows up and make faces... :D

I'll post pictures in the morning.

Glad to hear things are going good! But I'm confussed about something...I thought the goal was to need to turn off your truck when you went to the drive through, so you don't blast the person's ear when they push the button & say "May I help you?" I guess all this time I've had it wrong...hmmm. Is it exceptable to  set off car alarms in parking lots, or is that a no-no too? Maybe I need some help on "Proper truck driving habits" Is there a book?  ;D Lorne
