Well it has ben a cpl monthes since i bought my Mig welder ..And i must say i dont think ill go back to my arc welder lol..Im going to make me a new set of bumpers for my truck..I got a real cool idea in my head for the bumpers..Going to be made out of diamand plate metal and 5 inch tubing..And will be able to hold my Warn winch and Off road lights...Al in all thay will stick out about a foot and a half away frome the truck and will have suports and so on it..

I like that bumper alot..and to think that if more pepole would take thare time and do stuff like thay would save alot of money..And be able to set thare truck apart..I mean Custom offroad bumpers can cost up to 1700$ and maybe even more!

It should make short work of a Honda or toyota when they drive into it because they are tailgating and flapping their gums on the cell phone!
The holes are for rubber mounted tractor lights / back up lights. I have about 6 hrs. into it from cutting the I beam to coating it with POR 15 and SEM spray on bed liner. Had the steel laying around. The only thing I bought was the D rings, and a new pair of pop in plate lights. The spray on liner and POR 15 was left over from jobs. I blasted, let skim over with rust, POR 15, and Sray on liner the front bumper too.
Haha I just relized if you look close you can see the rearend section form my 55 and the broken bridge that used to hold the carrier in. That made a @#%$ of a noise when it blew. Stock 55 Chevy rear just dosn't hold up to a 355, built TH 400.

A little creativity goes a long way.  I needed a way to carry more batteries.  Back in my tent camping days, I had a lot of gadgets that required 12 volts.  I'd drive around with two car batteries below my bumper, hooked up to my alternator.  I'd have them in those black battery containers, strapped in by bunji cords.  Hey, it worked well.

Nowadays I go camping in my 30' dutchmen witha  honda generator.

But, anyway, i little bit a tiime with my arc welder produced this....its bolted onto the frame under the radiator area.  The hitch ball was used for my bike rack that clamped onto the ball and carried my bikes around. I didn't like carrying my bikes on my rear bumper ball because i like to have access to my tailgate where my cooler usually was



How 'bout those George Mason plates?  GMU didn't go to the final four this year

See i like them ideas....And thay will probly out do anything u buy in a store..And yea id like to see a lil honda rearend that bumper lmao.....
