hi again, i a few days ago i bought a 327 small block from a fella i know at the junk yard. it came with double hump heads with out accessory holes drilled.i looked the numbers up and shows to be out of a 1968 z/28 camaro. I took it apart to see how it looked. i pulled the lifters out and the first 2 lifters were wiped out so took cam out and the lobes were gone also. soooo.. i reckon im goin to have to put my heads from another project on there because i am also stealing the cam from the other project to stick in it. its a crane energizer H274 and the heads i had set up for roller rockers . Ok so my question is. Does anyone know if the deck height is the same on a 327 and a first gen. 350?

the heads may be from a Z28 but not the 327. Z28`s from 67-69 were 302`s only. All the gen 1 sbc`s have the same deck height, 9.025"
