This is the panels for that style:

You will need to adjust your parking brake to be tight before it gets to the pod (all my trucks are already like this now, I adjust them when the get loose) If you keep it where you have to push it all down, it won't clear.

A) the only reason they won't clear is if the parking brake isn't adjusted properly and it hits the floor when you press it.  (as in it doesn't work at all)
B) if you adjust it properly, it won't hit.  It will also work all the time when you need it.
C) 90% of owners don't even use their parking brake, ever so it would be a mute point to them whether it works or not.

There are 2 styles of kick panels half style and full.  Heater vs AC doesn't matter on either as one is manually activated the other is control operated.  The Vent has nothing to do with the kick panel pod.
I designed the full style version so you can actually push the pedal to the floor, BUT, you won't be able to do it with you whole foot.  Again, if it is adjusted properly this is a non issue.

This is the half style:

The only time my e-brake is ever touched is for inspections. Its too flat around here for it to roll ;D

Hmm.  If you mount them with duo-lok fasteners, you don't have to cut your old panels, correct?  Will the fasteners come off the originals ok and can you just route the wire up from the bottoms to keep from messing up the originals?

You never have to cut the originals.  The dual-loc fasteners are Heavy duty velcro that sticks to each surface..
