cone washers

i am looking to buy new cone washers that mount the steering arm on and can not find anywhere that sells them. any advice?? thanks

Glad to help, but I don't understand what washers your referring to, I can't think of anything besides at the Left knuckle @ the Three bolts on a 4x4, not really washers (more like sleeves) is this the ones? Maybe a little more detailed description or a photo would even be better. Lorne

sorry if i was not clear. you were correct about the left knuckle 3 bolts that hold the steering arm on. i guess they are not really washers but cone shaped sleeves that are installed before the nuts go on. i had a very difficult time removing my old ones and need to replace them but the local autoparts store doesnt seem to have them. thanks

Check with a GM dealer, allot of parts are still available. Another option would be a 4x4 company that sells the arms & other hard parts. Good Luck, Lorne
