Added another to the family

the local chevy dealership had and 83 come in as a trade so i went and picked up. Its an all origanal 1/2 ton LWB 2wd, its got the silverado trim, with the, pw, pl, a/c. It has the 305 with a 4 speed 700r4. its a good ridin truck, so i think i got a good deal for $750. i'll get so pics up tomorrow.

the new truck, c10 LWB, has a spring on top of the rear axle that i have never seen before. it has the normal leaf springs mounted with hangers and shackles, and then there is this little coil spring that also is mounted to the axle. i was just going to see if anyone else has seen this, and if so want kind of option was it.

It's aftermarket.  It is for extra load.
