Just checking to get an update on this truck.
Did you get it on the road?
What are your thoughts on the 6.2 overall?
After doing both a 6.2 & 5.3 swaps, what are your thoughts on each as far as the time, money, and driveability of them?.
Just trying to get some ideas for 1 of my trucks.
Thanks.

I got it driving, but it isn't a back up truck yet.  I have the rear bumper and tire carrier at the powder coater right now.
I have driven 6.2L before so as long as it runs like they did I am fine.  I don't need a huge power motor I wanted a 4x4 with good gas mileage.  So far I have driven it around the block a few times.  It has some things that need to be fixed but I am sure I will be happy with it.
I need to fix the floor pans on it before I can start driving it and replace the top seals.

Time and money the 6.2L was faster and cheaper, pull out the 350 drop the 6.2L in.  All I needed was a torque converter and TV.
The TV bracket is like hens teeth, almost impossible to find.
any LS you put in in not going to be cheap.  But if I pull a SBC out, an LS will go back in if I am to keep it.  Driveability on the LS is like a new car.  I have almost 30K on the LS swap and drive it everyday.
