I'm near I-45N and FM 1960W. Where on the east side?

And ccz145a we are looking at houses too comin up, so we may end up transplanted somewhere else around here ourselves. And let me know when you get here, I wanna see that blue and white paint job in person!

Sure thing! I need to do a little work before I can get it licensed in TX. Steering is way to sloppy to pass inspection and I need to put a front bumper on. LOL, in Alabama, if it cranks, you can drive it.

The Magnolia area (I think that is the area y'all are talking about) is one place we're looking, good schools for the boys.

Haha sounds like we are all neighbors then! Or soon to be anyway.

vsoree I am just a little west of aldine westfield. My inlaws are right over on aldine-bender though, my folks are just north of me. Mine is an 80 Custom Deluxe, and I'm sorry to say I have had it longer than you've had yours and you have already far surpassed me in terms of accomplishment haha. I have a thread "showing it off" on here but I am too tired to find a link right now.

ccz145a I have a hard time imagining what more you would need done to be legal in Texas than Alabama. I havent had mine long enough to have to get it inspected yet, but as far as I know on these trucks so long as it doesn't shoot enough fire from under the hood to burn another vehicle its good to go. And Magnolia is about 30-40 minutes north of where I am; it's pretty secluded country out there but is rapidly expanding, because you are right it is a nice area. The wife and I have been talking about Magnolia ourselves. Where else are you looking? I grew up in Spring, and my wife spent several years in the Woodlands. Tomball is also pretty nice and is being developed now. Just so you know though, Texas is a little warmer than 'Bama... right vsoree?

All I can say is buy sunblock and mosquito spray ;D. I don't like not finishing things, I have a image in my head I have to see it in person or it drives me crazy. Even though it almost summer year round I would like to drive the truck in the summer time.

Haha, oh man, I forgot about the bugspray! And I know what you mean about driving it in summer. Mine is technically driveable but with the a/c not working, it's not REALLY driveable haha, not here anyway. It's most been a lack of funds that has kept me from getting anything done with it. When I had the money I was at work all the time, then I had time and no money....

Whats up guys, just figured I would chime in to the fact that I too am in north Houston, Spring to be exact. Just put some pics of my truck up in the members rides section (83 short project)
