They should still warranty the transmission even if you install it. Engine builders do it, so I dont know why a transmission shop wouldnt. If they wont, ask them if you can bring it in after so they can inspect it to make sure it was installed properly and then get the warranty.

Ahhh, Thats a good idea. i think im stopping by the shop today so i can ask. im glad you brought that up because i wouldnt have thought of that.
