   Welcome from Mass.
As far as an investment goes now is the time to make up your mind. Your into it for $850 so you could easily dump it and make a quick $1000 on it. On the other hand, thats a fun toy you bought for cheap money. I say hang onto it and enjoy it.

Welcome from Kenton, Ohio. I purchased my 84 K10 for 600 bucks. These trucks grow on you! I just purchased a 7and a half foot meyers snowplow for 200 bucks. It bolted right on, came off of a rusted out 85 K20. I also bought the rebuilt transfer case out of it for 100, seat for 30, and the new 20 gal tanks for 50. So this summer I have my hands full!!!  Gotta Love these Trucks!!!

Welcome from NH. That's an awsome deal you got!
Real trucks are built, not bought Build thread

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

the plan is to keep it. I have 4 other cars so i have a problem when it comes to cars. I have only owned 8 cars in my lifetime (I'm 24) and still own 5 of the 8 :) so far the war department (aka soon to be wife) hasnt told me that it has to go but she wasnt happy i bought it. The truck gets to sit in the shop all the time (one advantage of having a 35x60 garage on your property) along with the Cobra, Mark VIII and F-250, the mountaineer gets the house garage to itself (in the winter). I posted some new pics in the members rides since it was sunny friday and I havent taken any good pics since I got the grill in...:
