no, no no. it all depends on what trans you have. whats the final ratio of it all. me i have a sm465 and 4.10, imo it was to low for highway speed. for towing its great but i have a low gear that i dont even use. i want to switch to 3.73 just to pick up the mpgs and us low gear

Who's 'no no no' Irish?  My response is taking the same vehicle and only changing the differential gears and tire size.  It doesn't matter what transmission he has if he isn't going to change it.

Lol I don't know why I put so many nos'  all I ment to say is everyone thinks you need 4.10 or higher for bigger tires. But in fact if you have the right setup and what your plans are for the truck. 4.10 for me is too high

That is kind of like when someone refers to the motor in their truck.  You know what they guy means, but he don't have a motor in his truck he has an engine, so you ask him, "you have an electric motor in your truck???"  Whatever...you know what the guy means.  Detroit doesn't call itself the Engine City, they call it Motor City.
