73 with a newer tailgate question

Can you take a more relative picture in relation to the whole bedside and get both the hinge mount and the latch?

I have looked at it some more, and comparing all the pics with  the other tailgates it think that i have the newer mounts,because I tried some old style trunions that bolt to the bed but the did not fit into the ones on the tailgate
the ones that are in the truck accept the tailgate the big problem is that that when the tailgate is down it does not go low enough(not flat) like the arms are to short or wrong location
does anyone know if they had diffrent length arms?

Arms were different lengths, and mounts on the bed were different.
