Where did you get the small rectangular sealed-beam conversion lamps?  I didn't think that anyone made them for the Chevy quad-beam.  They are smaller than the standard quad-beam, 100x165 mm (4x6) lamps.  They are I think the 92x150 mm lamps.

Also...did you modify those step-bars?  I think I saw that you used something like 2003 Chevy truck steps and made brackets to fit your truck, but I also seem to remember that the main tube is shaped differently?!

Thanks,

They are good high quality glass lamps I ordered online. I plan on converting to led or hid someday and these lamps allow you to.
I ordered the 2012 chevy crew cab shortbox bars from gorhino. All i had to do was bend the brackets back a bit to fit the contour of the rocker panel.

I need to get some pics up of my recent progress.. Was up til 2am last thursday then jumped in a van for 10 hours to nashville for the weekend.  Had an ok time, would have been a LOT better if i didn't come down with Bronchitis. At home still recovering today.. i'm hoping to be back to work tomorrow then i can get you guys some pics afterwards.

Here's a few pics, first one is of the modified gorhino nerf bar mounts

A few shots of the core support

The batteries mounted in the tool box with a 250 amp Flaming River disconnect and big rig HD 3/0 cable

Last Thursday night Mike helped me finish up the doors, installed GTmat on the inside and outside panel of the doors and the 5way Pioneer 6x9 speakers. Then installed the JL Audio 10" shallow mount sub w/box and wired everything to a JL XD700 6 channel amp. I hooked up the radio temporarily on the floor since I don't have power to the dash yet. We took it for a test run and wow were we impressed! Very crisp sound, no distortion at all above 100db, and that little 10 really packs a punch and still fits behind the rear seat. Highly recommend this setup to others.

Love the batteries in a lockable box, was planning something like this but up front for my build, since my hood does not lock.   :-X

Thanks guys
So after a month of Bronchitis which turned into pneumonia i'm finally starting to feel back to normal. Was able to get quite a bit of work done over the weekend while the wife was outa town. Here's a quick video and walk around.

another update, got the brakes, clutch and power steering all hooked up. Found out my john deere baler cylinder was too slow for my steering so i had to break down and buy a psc cylinder.  Then took the truck for a short test drive up and down the road.  Found my hydro boost and power steering pump are leaking pretty bad.. Then my tire barely caught the lower bumper valance and broke it.. And i got an idler or something annoyingly squeaking, can hear it in the video.. But on the bright side she drove and rode really really nice. Felt like i was riding in a new f-150, think i'm really going to like those sulastic shackles. And i can't wait to have a leg like Barney Gorman from pushin that clutch ; )
Here's some pics of the little white giant soakin up some rays in the yard and a video at the end.
ps plantin season is starting so you won't be hearing much from me guys sorry..
