Finished blocking finally, and got everything taped off. Finished painting the bottom of the bed floor

Finally sprayed the blue, took 3 color coats and 1 final. The blue looks really bland without the clear but layed quite well.
Hopefully finish taping off the white sometime this week and then spraying white and then finally clear this weekend😎

Got a lot done on the k10 in the past week.
Finished spraying the white two tone

Here it is with just basecoat sitting outside, the blue really pops

And after clear coat, the blue and white looks even better than I planned on

Here is how the truck sits all together with her new shoes

Today was the first time I have seen the truck all one complete color and I could be happier with how it turned out. Can't wait to finish it.

Nice two tone!!! Are you keeping the upper and lower trim off and around the wheel wells too? I would like to try that as well.

I'm more jealous, because thats the paint scheme i was going for, blue/white two tone...no trim!! Dang!!!

Thanks everyone, a lot of time and money have went into it. Planning on running  full trim (body line, wheel well, back of cab, drip rails).

Couple things:

Does the trim tend to hold water, causing rust rot, etc.

I have been told you have to remove fenders in order to install/remove emblems. Is that right?

I don't plan on driving the truck during the winter so rust shouldn't be an issue.
I expect the trim will hold water but instead of drilling holes and running screws to attach the trim, I will be using 3m tape.
For the emblems on the fender I will be finding some newer style Silverado emblems to cover the holes. Any suggestions on such emblems?

GM now uses 3M double sides automotive tape for all of its exterior emblems. Works great. No reason at all you can use that.

Well, haven't posted in a while, thought I'd take some time and give you folks and update on the K10.

Finally got the bed floor completed
Also finished putting the new bedsides on

Started to put the new interior in

Here is what the truck currently looks like with the new rims and tires

Finished rough blocking the bed and just sprayed the first layer of primer

Hope to have the truck done by March-April

Thanks
Are there any welds on those bed sides, or all bolts, easy to install new ones?
