Yes, Irish..thanks. Looking forward to seing that.

I think I am just going to paint the front bumper white (like many factory ones), and order a paintable rear with the mounting brackets and paint that one white also. My rims are white and my mirrors are white and eventually I will paint the "Chevrolet" letters on the tailgate white.  I would prefer to have both bumpers the same color.

Or,,,I could get stainless mirrors, and a stainless rear step bumper from "that large online catalog".

Could someone please list from this page (I blotted out the vendor info) what items I need to buy to convert from a step to a plain bumper?  Also, the step bumper has two holes for the license plate lights, what do you do for the license plate light on the plain bumper?

This light: http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=7&Product_Code=0849-625&Category_Code=7387RearBumpers.  It mounts onto the license plate bracket

Update, i installed stupid wrong bumper! Just ordered new one from site store. Just like my other post, "101 combinations"i understand the different generations, but why cant every 73-87 be identical!!  Fleetside, stepside, wideside, dually, ...blazer, suburban! Too many options, styles, sub models! Every part should fit every vehicle!! Im just venting cuz i got the wrong bumper!
