i just want it in paint, thats the biggest expense there out of the way. Then i can put money back and not have to worry bout saving up for a paint job.. Should look awesome in color. The gu said that will be 1 wicked looking color.Iam getting my bedsides this friday, i got a call there gonna deliver them by truck so that will be good cause i`m sure the painter will want them ASAP..

wow man your truck is gonna be awsome when finished, i really wish i was at the stage you are with yours, but instead ive been working on it for a year and a half now and all i have done is the frame is painted, other than that still lookinf for parts, still rebuilding front suspension, im putting a fuel cell in but lost the pics and stuff i saved from this site so if you could help with that id be great full, still need to get a bed, and put my motor back together and all the body work and paint (which im doing all of that with a buddy) me and him went to school for that stuff and thats what we love to do so im looking forward to that, but any way nice truck and videos cant wait to see more pics 8)

Hey whats going on everyone?
Been awhile since i wrote last and i figure i give you all a heads up. I am still waiting for the guy to take the truck but since its still here i thought i take advantage of it right now still. I`m sure you know i wanted to put a set of leather seats from a corvette in the truck.Well i got them in today, i been working on some homemade brackets to match up with the holes on the floor.I ended up using 1/8 inch steel stock and a BFH to bend them. I also welded them to the existing seat tracks and they fit great.. I also got the special seat perches in the front corners on as well and everything seems to line up.I removed the drivers power seat assembly and made way for dual manual seats...I still gotta tear them apart again to have them recovered and to paint the tracks and reassemble everything. I`m hoping soon this guy takes this truck and gets going on it cause i want to pull the engine out of the corner and clean it up and paint it the same color as the truck and put my new parts on it before i have to put the motor and tranny in and before i go on vacation next month..But now i just gotta make something on the bottom of the seats to hide the seat tracks...
thanks
pat

Great job on the seats, those things will look great when you get them covered.

I hope so.Next year is going to be a very slow progress.I figure im going to be pretty broke after the paint job so i need to put money away for quite some time.I may just cover it and little by little do some work to it while its on the jackstands... But im stoked on seeing this truck in color by next month....

thanks
