Tonight i got the tailgate and the front bed panel cut down as we need to get to our christmas tree.I also buffed out the roof so the cab is done.I need to machine glaze it and then liquid polish it.SO now i am gonna work on the front fenders and hood and get them done and hopefully assembled hoping by christmas..

Hey all,
well i started putting the bed together and i ended up damaging the tailgate.BUT i sent it out today to get repaired and repainted.I told them this time to take there time there is no rush on it..But i got the bed side fixed and got the rear fenders all sanded out n ready to be polished. I really haven't done much to it so i figure i give a heads up since it has been awhile..
ttyl
pat

p.s. i figured by the time i got the paint and clear and fixed the tailgate and bought another 1 and do all the bodywork it was alot easier on the wallet to have someone repair the old 1.So i take my parts to this shop i had recently done and just let them fix it...

Thanks dennis
But now i came across another problem. After wetsanding 1 of the rear fenders i noticed some small spots on 1 of the fender.I tried wetsanding thinking it was something dried on it and i could wipe it with a cloth.NOPE small little pinholes. So this is going to the body shop where my tailgate is at.Sux i tell ya i thought i had all these issues resolved.I guess not.Oh well it should be together soon though as i got the bed all together now just waiting on getting the wood which will be shortly...Also like to add i sent out a few more pieces for powdercoating and my fuel cell to get modified to acept to be bolted to the rear framerails in the rear before i put the bed back on...

thanks
pat

Hey all,
I been doing some work to it as of this week.Today i got done foam padding the truck out,I got the door handles and locks in.I dont want to put the glass in until i can get some hushmat for the inside of the door skins.I also want to get the rear window in and may as well do the windshield while i`m at it before the bed goes on. I got the fuel cell all mounted and the bed sides and the front and lower tailgate panel.I went to go see the parts at the bodyshop and they will be ready this week.So i`m looking forward to that and finally get the spending under control..Here are a couple of pics of the bed n the fuel cell..
thanks
pat

Layne,
today i get them back.I went there about a hour ago and there done but the manager didnt write up a total yet.He said he will give me a good deal and will call me sometime soon. They came out good and i will still have to wetsand them again ad buff them but there done.. Right noww its been to God darn cold outside to do anything to it as well as funds.. But hoping by tax returns i`ll have a lil breathing room to play with and get some more parts needed..  I showed the truck to a couple other forums and there drooling over the color lol.. Should look killer once its done(praying for the end of the year to be done and completed on the outside and running).

Thanks
pat
