I have been driving my truck in HI with out the front drive shaft in lately. It obviously is able to move around that way. Does that mean I have a part-time conversion kit in it?

I hope so. I would like to see if anyone else can confirm that. If I do have it installed, I need to go get lock-out hubs for the front axle. Thanks for the input so far.
