The front pad has nothing on it .

Hii There , Stating another project , an 83 c10 2wd  .Frame etc is all good and have to replace dash pad and seat , some body work and Paint Prob flat blk wth a clear cote to seal it.Ill keep in touch with updates ..Bruce

I have a suffix code nobody seems to know about.  I know for a fact the engine is original. 78 c20. Engine code TDS, NOT TSD.  It says TDS on the block as well as on the build sheet.

if the pad is blank

a) the block has been decked
b) it was an over the counter block

I put the motor in wednesday and still putting it back together , Had to move the 6 cyl motor mounts up a notch. that was all I had to change the tv cable on 350 tranny is too long gonna have to gerry rig sompthin there hahah .Im going up where I got the motor on weekend or early next week and get the vin number off the truck I took it out of and see what I can get from that if anything , all know if it came in that truck or not ,,Bruce

More rain yesterday , May get the transmission lines on today and gas lines have to be replaced , Old motor sounds pretty good be better when I get headers on it and some pipes. I have levers , pullys and engine lift and stand plus a floor jack and can replace or repar just about anything , can even pull the truck around the yard with wood block and tackles tied to trees etc haha I have copd and cant lift more than 30lbs so can do about anything ,anyone with a disablity can build a hot rod Takes a bit longer but  haha great entertainment .Anyway hope to have the truck on the road this weekend ,Then all the fine tuneing.Havent had wheels for a month Jeese. gettin Shack wacky Bruce   ...

Got all  new lines on for trannie and gas tank may get to try it today , then its inspection time Ill get a preinspection done They are kind of nutso here .Gonna have to get it painted and undercoated to pass that should cover up everything haha .I did brakes and lines it needs a new seat and dash , I had cadilac buckets in the old one think I may put them in current one , I pit it in the dich and hit a birch tree wnd bent frame on it. was a pain putin them in but a couple pieces of 1" pipe about 6" long to mount the front as floor steps down .. comfy seats and electric..
