well from what I've seen that does go behind the dizzy, in the block itself there's a spot which has to be plugged off on yours. You're gonna need to remove the big bulb from the other part and thread the other part into the block first with thread sealer or teflon tape on it, then do the same on the bubl and put it into the fitting. I'd buy a new bubl though, that one might not work. That or buy an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. As for the secondaries in the edelbrock carb they have some flaps in bottom that open and those in top just lay in there, I found it hard to beleive myself when I rebuilt one a couple years ago that it just laid in there, but I guess vacuum of the bottom flaps being open, opens them, I think you can move them by hand though, but might have to hold the throttle open to do so I forget.

Ok, update. Finally got that leaking fuel tank switching valve fixed with a new AC Delco part, installed my oil pressure sending unit, installed my rear bumper, diagnosed my inop temp gauge as a defective gauge in the cluster. I got a set of wheels Rally wheels 15x8 front, 15x10 rear. I'm holding off on tires since my front suspension is TRASHED. The front of the lower arms are bent and ground up, all the way to the washer and bushing, so I will be buying new upper and lower arms instead of tires. Last owner looks like he must have been a Dukes of Hazzard fan by the rash on everything. Now I can take it back to get the headers built since its not dripping gas........

Got my wheels on finally. I reused my front tires since the A arms are trashed, no sense in buying new rubber. Not much else has been done. I have been busy with work. I will get the headers done next week, all the guys were busy with SEMA stuff and now that stuff is slowing back down a little, I will get it in. Truck is getting sidelined unfortunately, but I'm doing little stuff here and there until I can get going on the motor. The interior should be addressed next, then I can work on building that 388.

15x10 rear 295/50/15
