Much better now that you have the bed painted to match.

Looks great, I like the bed too but the only thing that I dont like about putting those beds on the older style trucks is the tail lights. I will see if I can find a pic of what my buddy did he kind of covered half the light and modified it to make the old style tail lights fit and it looks good.

Thanks guys...i painted the hood, cowl, roof and visor green today.  The flares, mirrors, grill and door handles are flat black also im really thinking it might hold up....  I am looking for a roll bar to put in the bed but cant find one at a decent price, i do have tho a diamond plate tool box that fits the stepside bed that ill paint hammerhead finish like the bumper...

Heres a few of the project thru the years, i have alot of time in this truck and a million pics.... it was free but no motor, trans, rad, fenders or one door... it started out with 2 tenbolts/350/465/208 = blazer donor and 273 gears, then to 1974 d44/14ff  4:10s  and finally  to 358/465/205...ill post em in the next few posts......thanks for looking at my little project, i call it never done because really it isnt.....lol

Here some of it also on the way, nev rockers, cab corners, floor pans, fenders, inner fenders ... i eventually changed it to a 89 gmc suburban rad support with military grill guard. I received a real cheap warn winch bumper and beefed it up with .375 plate. I had to modify it for the body lift and made a skid plate on a 30 degree angle with 85 blazer tow hooks..........

One offroading trip with my old 37s  i went up a path too tight and slipped on some roots and tore the mirror off, smashed the door and bedside. That sucked and ive improved my skills much more since then...The door i had but the bed floor was too far gone to patch so i bought the 95 stepside super cheap and made it fit.  A rear bumper was too much for my budget at the time so i bought a roll pan from ebay and used light up bolts from dei for the plate lites....they worked perfect and for 20.00 i couldnt go wrong.  I also like to go to the local mudboggs and trail rides, its no trailer queen and doesnt have shiny paint.........
