Just replaced my stock wheels and tires with some AR 15" rims i found on craigslist for $75 and put some 31x10.5/r15 Kumho's on my stock height 2wd. Looks waaay better and rides nice. No rubbing at all, even when i turn all the way in one direction.  Love them

Big change in ride when I did mine too. The only time they will really rub is if you go over dips/bumps to fast and they will hit the top of your inner fenders.

I had a brown 77 like yours and I also had high traction 31's on it I think they look good on these trucks

My 31's on my 77 never hit or scrubbed, and I used to off roading and mudding in it.  Maybe it will if you have old or really saggy springs. or light duty springs.   My truck had the HD 1/2 ton springs on it.

Ive never seen another brown one like mine, I love the color though. My springs are original so I imagine i do have some sagging going on. All my bushings are shot on my frontend now too.

31" All-Terrains on 8" wheels, they are a bit big for my taste but they are round and hold air.

Do you have an RPO option sheet in your glovebox or on the fender? If so, can you see what color code your paint is? It looks like the original color of my 79 which was "Camel".

Yes I do 1979c20. I have the original build sheet to that I found in the springs underneath the bench seat. I will give it a look and check out the codes later on after work. I believe its a light camel. Dont know why they call it light though because its a nice deeper color on the inside. 8)
