There's going to be a bunch of people wondering how you got your truck so much lower than theirs when you get those fenders done. ;D

I had been kicking around the idea of shaving the wiper cowl ever since I took it off 2 years ago. Tonight I decided to stop thinking about it and just do it...

Made some good progress this weekend. The passenger side was so much easier to do than the driver side.

That's an understatement. You come across as a Foose/Coddington think it/build it kind of guy. Great work. I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Let's not get carried away... I'm just a guy with some sheet metal and a welder. All you need is to be dumb enough to get yourself into some of the projects I have (the tailgate and sectioned fender) and then the patience to actually finish what you started......Luckily it seems I have both. :P

Looks like it's body dropped too. I hear ya, I just hope that when I try to teach myself to weld i'll be able to fabricate what I invision in my head. I think it's awesome that you have the time, place and means to create your madness.

Oh I see, you just raised the floor of the bed instead of cutting holes for the c-notch.

Not much of an update today but I did get a chance to start sanding the cowl panel and got a guide coat on it before dark.

Your metal work under the hood is amazing  8) Are those wheel wells trailer fenders? What are your plans for the firewall? That cowl panel looks awesome now I'm gonna have to finish mine.
