Hi
was looking for any info on installing a tach on the steering column and help or advise would be of great help the column is non tilt thanks.

It's just clamped on around the column. However it looks cheesy there. Mount it on the dash or somewhere stealth

Most people have it on the column. Some will mount it to the windshield pillar.

I used hose clamps to mount my tach on the column.
Wiring for the tach would be
Red - 12V keyed power
White - to light switch power (I run Red and White together to same Keyed power)
Green - Neg on coil or "Tach" connector on HEI
Black - Ground
