Vacuum Line Question

Where can you buy the small plastic vacuum lines and fittings that are all over the place under my '86's hood?  I looked at ClassicIndustries and they don't list them.

I've got an intake oil leak and am going to have to remove the intake.  While I'm at it, I'd like to refresh those lines so that they don't give me any more trouble in the future.  Any tips on doing this so that I don't have problems in the future, as well?

get your digital camera and take lots of pics of the different vac. lines and their routes.   I did this when I removed my engine and replaced it.  www.delbridge.net/vacuum.html

I got mine at NAPA so check there.

I'll check NAPA.  I'm talking about the 1/8" hard plastic tubes, not the rubber hoses.

I know the lines you are talking about. I think you will probably have to go to a dealer since they are also pre-bent and have different ends on them. I highly doubt Autozone will have anything like this however there is a chance NAPA will.

I'd love to buy a kit that had all of the tubes and connectors in it.  These have little beads around the ends and as you say. some are pre-bent.  I'll find them.  I've been busy this week and haven't had time to go shopping.  Napa will be my first stop.  If they don't have it, I'll check the dealers.

autozone i know can help if the lines were rubber they sell a kit with all the odds and ends but the plastic lines they are a pain they get to brittle

Actually I did notice some of that hard line at Advance Auto and Autozone. I'd hit the bone yard myself.

The hard lines were ok.  I found the fittings at AutoZone.  Hanging out with the PCV's and other smog crap. 

That darn engine has so many vacuum lines, it is amazing they ever got the thing assembled.  I found out the thermal vacuum switch was broken.  I think it has been the cause of a lot of problems with the way my engine ran.  I'll let you know next weekend, as I didn't finish up this weekend.
