i just got a 6 hp Tecumseh go kart that has no lights on it...i was wondering how to hook up some lights to it(it doesnt have electric start)...any info would be good

not even sure it's a possibility. try finding a 12+ wire with a voltmeter. maybe something off the ignition? there should be only a few wires (kill switch and ignition)

well theres a kill switch on the engine and one on the steering wheel...will the switch on the engine have a 12+ wire?..because i thought kill switches just ground the engine out....if i cant use power from that then there is nothing else on the go kart that gives off power...but ill try it

The engine would have to have a stator under the flywheel for this to work, if it does not have electric start, then I doubt it's there. You could hook up a battery and just charge it every now and then.

ya i dont need lights so if i cant find something on the engine that has power then im not gonna hook up lights...but thanx for the info
