removal of upper control arms

does anyone have a procedure and/or pics of how to change the upper control arms for a 3/4t
92 buick century custom 3.3L

Keep your shims in place, undo the ball joint and the two nuts

what about the spring?wont that fly up if i take something off wrong?

Not if you have the lower control arm supported.

am i supposed to put pressure on the lower control arm or just have the jack resting under it.....whats the complete procedure?

Just support the lower arm so that the spring can't push it down.
