i have an 86 chev, that when i bought it had no engine or transmission, but had the steering column of a 3 speed. i put in a 700r4 and hooked up the lockup that was located on the firewall. my question is, since i think the original transmission i believe was a 350c that has torque lockup, do i need a different lockup switch or is it the same? i have read other threads but didn't get an exact answer. is there a part number i can try and read on it?and if i do need a different one, does anyone have the part number? thanks
