Rear Roll Pan, are they all equally good?
« on: October 05, 2009, 10:25:27 am »
I would like to get a steel rollpan for my 83 short box. Are there any brands you guys recommend? I figured they were all about the same price range, so I thought I would ask.
also, when installing a roll pan, do you remove the rear bumper mounts and the pan bolts the the frame there, or are they welded in?

thanks,
Pete

For a different look check out the three piece pans that Grant Kustoms carries. The 3 piece roll pan moves the pan back so that it is in line with the tail gate eliminating the dip you get with standard pans.

Three piece pan looks like this...

Definitely not if you are one of the unlucky 2.  I emailed them to let them know.  I am trying to find 2 more or at least get a date on them.
