« on: March 14, 2010, 10:59:43 am »
I've got the 8-lug D-44 and both front brake calipers are fronzen.

Are these worth cleaning & rebuilding or should I just get a new set oredered and on the way?

Any prefered place to shop?

Remans are not more that $40 a piece and usually have a 12 month guarantee. It would probably take longer to get the rebuild kits, plus your time and labor.

I agree, get some remans and replace the hoses at the same time.

i think they are cheaper than that blaze more like 20 a piece with a lifetime guarantee. you don't even come close to that with a rebuilding it yourself

I just bought some for an 8 lug 3/4 2wd that were $13 each (+ core) from AutoZone. Not sure if those are the same ones used on a D44 though.
