What a terrible thing to have in your truck! Its leaking at the very end right where the drive shaft connects, it looks as if a seal is starting to go. How easy is this to replace...and what's it called??

There is a post on here that shows a repair for this. The spline shaft has a hole in the center of it. IIRC

once you remove the rear of the drive shaft from the rear end, just slide the shaft rearward out of the transmission tail....just a slip yoke.

Once that is out of the way, 4 bolts remove the tail of the trans.  May have to take speedo cable out. Then that cup w/ the o ring just slides off the end of the trans shaft.  Remember the original location though, so when you put the cup back on, you'll have it in the right place.

9 out of 10 times the seal is leaking because the rear bushing in the tailshaft housing. Replace both.

I don't know how to remove the drive shaft, do I remove the circlip things?

Oh yeah and am I gonna lose much fluid in doing this? Only what's already built up and leaking should come out right...?

remove the two u bolts at rear differentials...you should see 4 nuts at rear of driveshaft...i think they are 7/16 nuts.
ensure you mark w/ chalk or something on the differential flange and on driveshaft so your driveshaft wont be replaced wrong....it is balanced.   Take chalk and make a mark on drive shaft side and diff. flange.  Line it back up when replacing it.

Yes, fluid will leak out.  you  are removing the seals.  Seals keep fluid in place.

Thanks. I guess what I meant though was if I should drain the trans or if just a little is gonna come out...

Naa just a little bit, Have a drain pan ready , no need to drain the trans.
