rims are fine, tires may be too big. You would probably want smaller tires anyway just to make it look right.

Tires are way too tall. The rims will work, but you are going to have to do some grinding on the front A-arm for them to clear with a 3" spindle.
If your wanting to go lower, I suggest selling the tires and wheels and get a set that are more in tune with the look of a lowered truck.

They would look great tucked up into the wheel wells with a solid 3/5 drop. Might have clearance issues with the fronts when turning, but that's why its a shortie, so you don't have to turn as hard due to smaller turning radius.

@Big Cheese some will tell you 17's but it has more to do with the backspacing. I have 17s and they just sit in the garage because they hit and because the guy who powdercoated them did the worst job Ive ever seen. I endedup ordering spacers so I could run spindles on my stock 15's.

5.06 inch of backspacing(stock impala SS wheels). If you had a set with 4.25 BS I would think they would work. I used one inch spacers on 15x7's really ideally, Ideally I would of used 1.5 inch spacers with the factory 15x6.5's. I dunno if they would still fit under with the 15x8 wheels. I just know I was very disappointed when I bought those Impala wheels and they didn't work out.
