fixing my bed

my truck is a 82 chevy, fleet side bed.  my bed on the right side needs replaced and i cant weld to mount it. i know there a bounding glue that you can use, i dont know the name of it or were to get it.  can any one help. i would post a pic my truck but i cant post a pic on here yet tell me how

If you are replacing the whole bedside you need to cut the weld near the tailgate and that is the only place it is welded. You can rent a welder or have someone local put a bead on it. It will cost you more for panel pond adhesive and that isn't what its intended for.

then why do i have spot weld on the top of the bed. along the the bed rails.

Because thats how the skins are formed and welded together. A bedside is an entire assembly. Are you trying to just replace the skin?

i am replacing the hole bed side in one peace the hole the thing is no good, got hit and rust. yes its the skin didnt know it was called that sorry

i have found something called norton automotive Adhesives something called speedgrip structural adhesives do u know where to get it.

Here you are contradicting yourself so you'll need to clarify what you are doing.  You are saying you are replacing the whole side then you are saying just the skin. The skin is just the outer layer. The bed side is the entire side section of the bed. So which are you doing?
