Generally speaking the aftermarket converters are smaller than the factory ones.
Sometimes it will be obvious like a bright shiny converter. Other tell tale signs are new exhaust pipes on both sides of it, adapters used to hold it in place, clamps when the factory would have welded it.
It's not the end of the world if you cut them out, it's just that you get spoiled on the $100 cats.
I say you grab a car trailer and have at it.

I use a 18' Big Tex trailer with a solid diamond plate deck. I have an 9K lbs Superwinch. This set up would cost you about $4500 to buy new. You can definitely get by with a cheaper set up. I bought every thing new as it was a company write off.
So far this combo has done every thing I've asked of it. Might upgrade to an 20' trailer this summer.

Cheyenne. Just wondering if you bought a trailer and got your business up and running?
