Bad front caliper?

I put 2 new front calipers on my '82 C10. The drivers side bleeds just find, but when I went to crack the bleeder screw on the passenger side - nothing. even with the bleeder screw loose and someone stomping on the brakes, not a drop came out. I pulled the banjo fitting, and there was definitely pressure in the line up to the caliper.
Do I just have a bad caliper or am I missing something?

If you have fluid/pressure at the end of the hose, must be the caliper.
If these are new/rebuilt calipers, you did remove the plastic plugs right?
