Chris,

It's definitely not a firewall issue. It's been happening for me since the connect with facebook stuff appeared. For some reason since I started this post it's gotten better but for a while it was getting annoying. It happened at work, at home anywhere. Google Chrome is faster so I started using it but with IE forget about it.
