can i cut the coil spring to lower mw 2wd 81 i was reading that people do it to honda crx's to lower them and was jus wondering i dont care bout the ride it cant get worse than it is
might as well have the axle and arms welded in place

this is what mine use to look like with one coil cut in front and 3" Bell Tech dropped spindles. The rear is a Bell Tech flip kit and some leafs removed.

how much drop do you get by cutting one coil also what would happen if i slowly heated the stock coil while under cotroled presure as to shoten it im looking to get 4 inches out of my front end with out speneding any money or at least little as possible and as i said be for the thing rides like @#$% with stock suspenson i want to get the weight closer to the ground for less roll around corners and with my new rims i dont have much to spend and i still need to buy paint
