Wrong Evaporator core?

Replacing my Evaporator core and the two metal hoses coming off it do not match the one that came out....anyone have that issue or know what I could do to make it work?  DIEING FOR AC IN TEXAS

77-87 should all be the same core. one elbow should be almost strait while the top one should have a 45 degree angle on it. pre 77 should have more of a 90 degree bend on top

     As Irish pointed out, we also need info on the truck you are working on in order to be able to help.

If you got it at one of the big name auto parts stores and you didn't take the old part with you to verify, then you likely got the wrong part.
