I installed my 6X9's inside my door behind the crossflow vent. I got the idea from an article in Custom Classic Trucks. With a set of foam buckets siliconed down to prevent water damage, the speakers sound good and are completely invisible. No need to cut holes in innocent doors, and no need to worry if the power window mechanism gets in the way.
