Electric choke setup

ok so i got a new carb for my 81. it has a 350, all stock engine wise. ive used the search and didnt come up with much help. im confused on how to hook up the electric choke, like wire wise. right now i have the hot air choke on my old carb and i would like to know how to hook the electric one up when i go to swap the carbs. thanks in advance,

You should have a green wire in the engine bays wiring harness. The green is the electric choke. Hook this wire up to the electric choke. I believe passenger side. Also check to see if there is a fuse for the electric choke. If not install one.

ive hooked my edelbrock carb with a 12v on the fusebox as per edelbrock

my green wire was removed from the PO so I just used a switched 12v power lead. Works like a champ.

Run fused ignition through an oil pressure switch that's made to control a "choke light."
