Man your truck looks really good! Please tell me where you got the tailgate band and side molding. I can't find that tailgate peice anywhere

The side molding I got from  , it's aftermarket made in Canada but seems to be of good quality and looks like the original. I got lucky on the tailgate band and found this original GM piece at the junk yard, it had some scratches and a few small dents but overall was in good condition. I had a couple of the dents fixed, had it polished and the center brushed, was a little expensive to have done but was WAY cheaper than a new one, and the new ones I've seen are all aftermarket.

Thought it was about time to post an update as I didn't do a very good job with that since last Spring. The only real change to the exterior is the addition of a soft bed cover. Finished up the work I wanted to do on the interior, seat , carpet, stereo along with the little odds & ends that go along with a project. The interior looks a little "purple" in the photos as I took them with my phone which isn't the best. I've only put about 2,500 miles on it since getting the interior back together. I drive it to work some and most every weekend but still can't seem to drive it anyplace that will require me to leave it unattended for more than a few min. Guess that'll pass with time??

My uncle always strips the lights and stuff off the vehicle himself then trailers it down to Macco.  He says they do a pretty good job for the cose as long as you prep it yourself. for a quick cheap paint job on the pinch

Captkaos sells them on this site, you can also look at Q logic/Q forms. Just have to compare and see which ones fit your needs & budget.

Very nice truck man.  I also will be getting me a set of those kick panels.  Once I get to the interior on my 79 I will be building a custom box for behind that see that will hold a Kicker L7 12" sub
